1. Verifiers are ordinary freelancers given basic training to verify the legitimacy of a transaction leveraging their proximity to the suspected party, hereinafter referred to as Suspect.
2. Verifiers are not trained or certified to become private investigators or any form of law enforcement agency.
3. Activities of verifiers are not private, covert, or undercover like that of private investigators as Clients are expected to pre-inform Suspects of a forthcoming investigation by a contracted verifier.
4. Verifiers are to adhere strictly to laid-down processes of verification and get approval by a line supervisor should they (verifiers) decide to devise a new strategy.
5. Verifiers should be aware of the risks involved in verification processes, such as insults, embarrassment, threats, or injury, and take proactive steps not to overreact and jeopardize the verification process.
6. Some verifiers should be willing to wait a long time before getting jobs as awareness in some localities takes time to be created.
7. Verifiers should not have a preconceived opinion before commencement of verification as that will negatively influence the thoroughness of the verification process.
8. Verifiers should not use any unethical or illegal means of obtaining information, such as shouting, threatening, fighting, mounting surveillance, or arresting.
9. The personal data of users are safe and secured as our partner company handling all identity verification on behalf of VerifierHub is GDPR compliant, holding a GDPR compliance certificate (issued by Quality Guild management standards).
10. Verifiers should ensure line supervisors vet all verifications before final submission to the clients. Verifications queried by a line supervisor will be repeated accordingly.
11. Verifiers are obligated to update VerifierHub management of any new or revised law in their country that is of concern to the smooth operation of VerifierHub in that locality.
12. To avoid misunderstanding, verifiers should understand the client’s scope and goal of requested verification before execution of the job.
13. Verifiers are not to give any form of guarantee in their verification report, as there may be rare cases of false negatives or false positives. However, verifiers will be liable for obvious negligence of laid-down processes.
14. Verification reports from verifiers are cautionary statements and not to be used as evidence for arrest or legal prosecution of suspects. Verifiers are prohibited from court or judicial appearances.
15. Verifiers are to maintain strict confidentiality in handling all information regarding the client, suspect, and verification processes. Defaulters will be met with dire consequences.
16. Verifiers are not employees of VerifierHub; they are part-time workers remunerated on commission based on completed verifications and not per hour.
17. The total revenue from a completed verification is shared in a 60:40 ratio, with verifiers receiving 60% and VerifierHub receiving 40%. The client will pay the full cost of the selected verification category to the VerifierHub escrow system before the verification process commences. Verifiers will be paid accordingly upon satisfactory completion of the verification.
18. Verifiers agree to periodic reviews by VerifierHub of terms, processes, and remunerations, with a minimum of 7 (business) days’ prior notice.
19. VerifierHub reserves the right to suspend or terminate a verifier’s appointment with a minimum of 3 days’ prior notice if any terms of service are violated.
20. A verifier evidently conspiring with a suspect to perpetuate a fraud will be dismissed from VerifierHub, and copies of his/her identification documents will be sent to relevant law enforcement for prosecution.
21. VerifierHub will provide quarterly dividends to verifiers who did not have job opportunities in the past preceding quarter as motivation for patience.
22. Pioneer Verifiers will receive priority in job assignments and higher dividends if they did not execute a job in the past preceding quarter.
23. A Verifier that successfully recruits verifiers from each state/region of his/her country will be elevated to Super Verifier with the benefit of receiving bonus payments from every verification in his/her country.
24. This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Arizona in the United States of America.
25. Verifiers accept that electronically signed Agreements carry the same weight and validity as signed original documents.
26. Verifiers are advised to attest to this Terms of Service with signatures matching those on their national ID or passport, as this will be verified in due time.
